Please join the Center for Constitutional Governance, École Polytechnique, Sciences Po, and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University for a virtual seminar series entitled Rewriting the French and US Constitutions: Looking Beyond the “Usual Suspects,” exploring three key themes: the executive branch, reproductive rights, and constitutional justice.

Each theme is addressed through two sessions over two weeks: the first examines the main issues and "flaws" in the French and US constitutional systems, while the second invites experts from jurisdictions beyond the usual suspects and from the Global South to offer comparative insights and ideas for "rewriting" the two constitutions. After focusing on Sri Lanka for the executive branch, we’ll turn to Chile and Colombia for reproductive rights.
