For many people, the events of January 6th, 2021 were a watershed. How have they affected faculty who work on democracy and constitutional order? Have their work and teaching changed? Do they see the responsibilities of the university differently? Where do we go from here? Professor Jed Purdy will moderate a discussion with Professors Olatunde Johnson (Jerome B. Sherman Professor of Law), Kate Andrias (Professor of Law), and Jameel Jaffer (executive director of the Knight Institute for the First Amendment).

The event will be held on Monday, April 25th, at Columbia Law School's Room 102B, from 4-5pm. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
